September 24, 2024

Clemson University’s 4th annual event to feature keynotes, panel discussions, roundtable and networking opportunities

The 2024 Clemson University Women’s Roundtable features keynote speakers Cynthia Butler-McIntyre, 24th national president of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority and field supervisor at iteachLouisiana, and Aarti Sequeira, Food Network Host, cookbook author and television producer.

Registration is open for the Nov. 14 event at the Greenville Convention Center.

McIntyre will deliver the morning keynote address followed by two STEM panel discussions – one catering to students and another to professional development. After a networking lunch, participants will attend the afternoon keynote delivered by Sequeira followed by a roundtable to explore and apply their knowledge developed during the day-long event.

The student panel is comprised of a Clemson undergraduate student, graduate student, medical student and professor who will each share their experiences as women in their unique fields. The professional panel will include experienced executive female leaders from the fields of science, technology, engineering and math.

Women’s Roundtable is a Clemson University initiative to create development and networking opportunities for women to acknowledge, explore and invest in the advancement of girls and women, particularly in STEM fields. The daylong event focuses on the importance of education, self-care, and preservation while providing opportunity for peer, corporate and mentor networking. This year’s event anticipates more than 500 South Carolina students and more than 300 professionals from the Carolinas.

Registration fees for the 2024 Clemson Women’s Roundtable are:
