AAF of The Midlands Hosting Conversational Media Lunch Program in May
May 12, 2009COLUMBIA, SC – May 11, 2009 – The American Advertising Federation (AAF) of The Midlands is hosting a year-end picnic on conversational media featuring speaker Sid Bedingfield of the School of Journalism and Mass Communications at the University of South Carolina. The indoor picnic will be held Wednesday, May 20 at 11:45 a.m. at The Inn at USC in downtown Columbia, and everyone is welcome to attend.
At the year-end picnic, you’ll learn about how conversational media is changing everything. Conversational media is everywhere—from blogs, to twitter, to message boards and forums—and it’s being used for every purpose imaginable. Learn about how it’s being used at May’s lunch program and then adapt it to your organization.
Bedingfield, former head of CNN’s US network, is currently a visiting professor at the School of Journalism and Mass Communications. He is teaching courses in broadcasting as well as a course he developed on telecommunications and society.
