Civil Rights – It Still Matters: Fair Housing Conference
April 24 @ 8:30 am - 4:00 pm
The history of living with a disability is one of discrimination, segregation and exclusion, with barriers far beyond access to affordable housing. This year’s Fair Housing Month conference focuses on furthering fair housing for people with disabilities through training and outreach.
The conference will cover the barriers people face, along with Americans with Disabilities Act best practices, law education and available resources.
There will be sign language interpreters available at this event. If you need additional accommodations, email [email protected].
To register, visit crism2020.eventbrite.com. Registration is free and closes April 20.
For interested attorneys: Continuing Legal Education credit of up to 3.5 hours is being sought from the Commission on CLE. A fee of $50 will be charged to register your bar number for credit upon arrival the day of the event. Email Lee Ann Watson at [email protected] if you would like to seek credit when and if it is offered.
