Furman hosts Interfaith Celebration honoring MLK

January 20 @ 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm

Furman University’s Office of Spiritual Life presents an Interfaith Celebration in honor of the life and work of Martin Luther King, Jr. Monday, Jan. 20, at 7 p.m. in Daniel Chapel. The event features guest proclaimer Dr. Chanequa Walker-Barnes, author of “Too Heavy a Yoke” and “I Bring the Voices of My People.” Furman University Gospel Ensemble and student Religious Council Leaders also contribute to the program.

The Interfaith Celebration is part of a series of events honoring Dr. King. The events are made possible through a partnership between Furman University and Alpha Phi Alpha Greenville Foundation. Learn more at https://tinyurl.com/yzzfyh44.
