MUSC’s Science Café explores suicide

August 13 @ 5:30 pm

Free

It is high time that we use modern neuroscience to understand what goes wrong. Dr. Mark George, internationally renowned scientist in depression and brain stimulation treatments, will present evidence that suicide arises from defective circuits in the brain, in a manner akin to other brain diseases like epilepsy or Parkinson’s Disease.

MUSC’s Science Café is a series of presentations offering entertaining talks on scientific subjects in a fun, non-technical way in a pleasant social environment.
