National Night Out Kickoff Celebration

July 29 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

City of Columbia to Kickoff National Night Out with ‘Re-Engage Columbia’ Event, Giveaway Grand Prize of a Free Grill

After having to cancel the 2020 event due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the City of Columbia is excited to host its National Night Out Kickoff Celebration with a ‘Re-Engage Columbia’ event. City departments and Columbia Council of Neighborhoods will have free food, family fun, entertainment, music and the Columbia Police ice cream truck planned for the community. National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships. The initiative was birthed in Philadelphia in 1984 to take a stand against crime and make neighborhoods safer, together.

Among the various prizes given at the event, one participant will be awarded a free gas grill. The City would like to give a special thank you to Home Depot for its donation of the gas grill. All winners must be present to claim their prize.
