Other projects include picking up litter along downtown sidewalks and alleyways\, planting seasonal flowers in pots and weeding garden beds near storefronts\, and spreading mulch to refresh landscaping around the square. Don’t worry—no special skills are needed\, just a willingness to help and a good pair of shoes. Supplies are provided\, and volunteers of all ages are welcome. \nWhy It Matters\nSecond Saturday isn’t just a beautification day—it’s a community-building event that celebrates teamwork and local pride.
