SUMMARY:She Loves Me at Town Theatre
DESCRIPTION:With hearts brimming with affection and excitement\, we invite you to be swept away by She Loves Me. This enchanting musical\, filled with romance\, humor and a touch of old-world charm\, will transport you into a world where love blooms in the most unexpected places. Like a perfectly penned love letter\, She Loves Me unfolds the tale of two feuding shop clerks who\, unbeknownst to them\, are secret pen pals\, pouring their hearts into anonymous letters. Set against the backdrop of a 1930s European perfume shop\, this story reminds us that sometimes\, love is closer than we think. If this plot sounds familiar\, it should! She Loves Me and the film You’ve Got Mail were both based on the 1937 play Parfumerie. \nTo sweeten the deal\, we’d like to invite you to one of our famous desert nights – Saturdays\, March 22 and 29. The charming melodies of She Loves Me set the perfect backdrop as we “sing for our supper” with a delightful dessert finale provided by Town Theatre. Get your tickets for the show on Saturday\, March 22 or 29\, and we’ll provide the delicious denouement. All you have to do is enjoy dinner at a local restaurant and bring us the receipt. It’s perfect harmony ~ your dinner receipt in exchange for a delicious treat of Vanilla ice cream (and cake) served on the patio before the show. Dessert will be available from 6:45 PM to 7:20 PM. \nWith admiration and devotion to our show sponsors\, Carolina Children’s Dentistry and The State Newspaper\, we invite you to join us from March 21 to April 6. Curtain is at 7:30 PM Thursday through Saturday and at 3:00 PM on Sundays. \nThis production promises to enchant\, captivate\, and leave you utterly smitten. Whether you’re a hopeless romantic\, a lover of classic musicals\, or simply seeking an evening of sheer joy\, She Loves Me is our heartfelt gift to you.
