The Lexington Health Irmo Okra Strut is set to fill Moore Park\, located at 7473 Church Street\, with music\, food\, and community spirit on September 25–26\, 2026. \nFriday Night Kickoff \nThe celebration begins Friday evening\, September 25\, at the Prisma Health Amphitheater inside Moore Park. Opening ceremonies start at 6:00 p.m.\, leading right into a night of free live entertainment: \n7:00 p.m. – The Big Time Band: Sets the festival mood with high-energy covers spanning almost every genre. \n9:00 p.m. – Monsters of Yacht: America’s premier Yacht Rock tribute band takes the stage to deliver smooth\, nostalgic hits from the ’70s and early ’80s. \nSaturday Family Fun \nThe excitement continues Saturday morning\, September 26\, with the Irmo Okra Strut 5K kicking off at Irmo Village Shopping Center (7571 St. Andrews Road) at 7:30 a.m. Next up\, the traditional Okra Strut Parade steps off at 9:00 a.m. along St. Andrews Road near CrossRoads Intermediate School and ends near Irmo Elementary School.
