DESCRIPTION:On Friday\, April 10th\, the Greenville County Medical Society Alliance (GCMSA) will be hosting Boogie in Your Bowtie: Mother-Son Dance at the Poinsett Club (807 E. Washington St.\, Greenville). Doors open at 5:30pm for VIP ticket holders and 6:30pm for General Admission. After a night of food\, dancing\, and all sorts of fun (including shopping silent auction and raffle items)\, you’ll be headed home for bedtime by 8:30pm! \nThis is the third time the GCMSA has held Boogie in Your Bow Tie. Beneficiaries from previous year’s event include Serenity Place/The Family Effect (2019) and the Michael Blake Foundation (2023). Proceeds from this year’s event will benefit Project Hope Foundation. DESCRIPTION:Entering its third year\, the Greenville Cycling Classic presented by Prisma Health will return to downtown Greenville\, S.C.\, on April 30\, 2026. Aside from the professional racers competing in this fact paced course in the heart of Greenville\, community members can take part in its Ride with the Tour de France Legend while men’s and women’s collegiate races will showcase talent from across the Southeast Conference. \nThe event is part of USA CRITS\, a series of criteriums featuring some of the fastest cycling in the United States. \nThis is an event made for spectators and it is free to attend. \n3:00 p.m. – Men’s Category 4/5 race\n3:35 p.m. – Collegiate Men\n4:10 p.m. – Collegiate Women\n4:45 p.m. – Masters 45+\n5:30 p.m. – Ride with the Tour de France Legends\n6:00 p.m. – Men’s Category 2/3 race\n7:00 p.m. – Women’s Pro 1/2/3 Category race\n8:10 p.m. – Men’s Pro 1/2 Category race \nThe Tour de France Legends ride is free and open to all (riders must be aged 12 and older) and allows community members to join Greenville locals and retired professional cyclists George Hincapie\, Christian Vande Velde and Bobby Julich for a cruise around the course. \nThe full event schedule\, list of sponsors\, volunteer opportunities\, and additional details can be found on the event website: GreenvilleCyclingClassic.com.
