COLUMBIA, SC – March 11, 2009 – The Governor’s School for Science and Math’s 20th Anniversary Celebration and 17th Annual Townes Dinner was held at the Mariott Hotel in Columbia on Wednesday night with a star studded guest list.
The guest of honor and recipient of the Townes Award was Harris DeLoach, Chairman, President and CEO of Sonoco Products Company.
James Susiu, President, Global Sales and Marketing for GE Energy Infrastructure was the keynote speaker.
