AgFirst is seeking a Construction Loan Servicing Specialist I will be responsible for primary default functions to include C2P procedural administration and MERS.

Duties and Responsibilities:
C2P Procedural Administration
• Serves as a liaison with the associations regarding program and account issues
• Perform a quality control review of new loans boarded by participating Associations to identify and correct inconsistencies
• Monitors the construction loan draws performed by participating Associations
• Monitors loans with private mortgage insurance and activates required certificates no later than 15 months after certificate commitment
• Run and monitor the aged loan and delinquency report
• Reviews the construction draw inspections as required
• Review account status on Bank 93 prior to authorizing modification approval
• Calculate escrows and fees to be reflected on the memo to file for permanent financing modification
• Updates the Bank’s loan origination system to prepare modification agreements at permanent financing and to set the file for transfer to sub-servicer
• Updates MERS after permanent financing modification
• Perform daily and monthly reconciliation of MERS reports against internal reports and monitor any operational exceptions
• Responsible for the setup and monitoring the escrow accounts for all C2P loans that require flood insurance
• Responsible for remitting flood insurance premiums from escrows accounts in a timely manner before delinquency dates
• Responsible for performing escrow analysis for C2P loans that require flood insurance

Customer Support and Other Functions
• Responds to borrower and Association inquiries in a timely manner
• Responds to customer inquiries in the shared e-mail box during the same business day
• Performs other duties as requested by management

Requirements:
• Associate’s Degree in Business or related field
• A minimum of 1-2 years of experience working in construction loan administration, MERS administration or a related field is preferred
• General knowledge of all mortgage and consumer lending documents, practices and regulations
• Specific knowledge of RESPA, TIL and Integrated Disclosure guidelines
• Excellent follow-up, problem solving and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in various computer software programs including Microsoft Office, database management and other business applications
• Flexibility to handle constantly changing multiple priorities and work under pressure in a fast paced environment
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner
