Development Chemist

October 23, 2020

The role of the Development Chemist in this position is product development and support of our current monolith and particulate based catalysts. The products are made at the lab and pilot-scale in our labs and transferred to production for commercial scale. These catalysts cover a range of applications in emission control and process chemistry. The job involves preparation of heterogeneous catalysts, characterization, and reactor testing of the catalysts. It also involves new product development related to catalysts. In addition, the lab provides analytical support such as elemental analysis and particle size measurements as needed.

This job involves state of the art R&D in heterogeneous catalysis as we develop new products for our customers. Strong chemical lab skills are required, as is an interest in learning and growing as a chemical scientist. Attention to detail is a must, as is good documentation and data analysis skills.

The incumbent will report to the Technical Manager, Catalysts in Laurens, SC and will be part of a group of chemists.
