Babcock Center is seeking qualified candidates for the Director of Nursing position. This position coordinates, manages, and supervises the implementation of medical/nursing services for all programs. The Director of Nursing provides direct supervision to the Nurse Managers, supervises the functions of the Medical Records Specialist, the Health Information Technician and the Administrative Assistant and provides supervision to auxiliary staff members and contractors in areas related to health care.
Requested qualifications for the Director of Nursing are completion of a 4-year program in nursing, and/or Masters preferred. Associates Degree in Nursing is accepted. Two years management experience. Two years’ experience in the field of supporting people with intellectual or developmental disabilities or other related field. Current RN license with the South Carolina State Board of Nursing.
