The IT Asset Coordinator will be responsible for assisting with customer support request tickets, troubleshooting and coordinating service of all conference room equipment, and maintaining inventory records of IT hardware (including mobile devices, workstations, printers, and networking/data center infrastructure). The coordinator will also assist with developing departmental workflow and training documents.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Inventory/Asset Management
• Receive and tag incoming IT assets in a timely fashion
• Process new employee asset requests, equipment moves, and replacement cycles
• Conduct semiannual physical inventory verification
• Organize supply cabinets and inventory storage area, keeping area neat & clean at all times
• Utilize purchasing, asset, and change control data to ensure inventory is accurate and updated
• Coordinate and assist with electronic asset disposals

Audio/Visual Equipment Support
• Perform routine conference room & equipment checks
• Troubleshoot equipment issues
• Coordinate service calls with AV & cable vendors
• Organize & maintain storage for spare conference room equipment

Vendor Collaboration & Portal Administration
• Maintain various vendor portals, such as Adobe, GoToMeeting, and Microsoft
• Facilitate ordering process with mobile vendor carriers
• Review monthly mobile device plan audit reports

Requirements:
• Associate’s degree in IT Systems/Finance/Business Administration or equivalent years of work related experience.
• Previous experience with IT support, inventory control, supply chain, and/or procurement preferred
• IAITAM Certified Hardware Asset Management Professional preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly strong MS Excel skills
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• High level of organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Able to perform well in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multitask as well as quickly change directions and priorities as needed
• Basic understanding of IT hardware & conference room AV equipment
• Excellent interpersonal and customer relations skills
• Ability to work independently, with minimum supervision
• Must have ability to lift/carry objects up to 50 pounds in weight
