The Mortgage Loan Processing Manager serves as the primary contact with customers for the loan processing needs. Responsible for management, training and coaching a team of Processors while ensuring performance benchmarks are exceeded. There will be a strong focus on providing excellent service to external and internal customers, as well as, third party vendors. Expected to be a systems expert for third party document preparation system and our loan origination system. Responsible for coordinating system maintenance to mitigate production issues and responds to matters relating to quality control. Prepares and provides training for employees, new and existing customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Lead and motivate team members to ensure consistent and maximum performance levels
Ensure loans are processed in a timely manner and in accordance with all state and federal regulations
Oversee department pipeline to ensure timely processing, quality production and troubleshoot errors
Conduct audits and to ensure quality and accuracy of all loan processing documents
Manage Quality Control issues; provides research; responses; and training as required
Monitor and assess team performance and trends in processing
Analyze, suggest, develop and implement procedural changes to improve efficiency and productivity
Development and implementation of training programs for customers and employees
Prepare and analyze reports as requested by management

Requirements:

Education and/or experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in mortgage loan processing or other mortgage related experience
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a management or supervisory role within the mortgage industry
Working knowledge of industry standard mortgage origination, processing and closing software
Expert knowledge of all mortgage and consumer lending documents, practices and regulations. Specific knowledge of RESPA, TILA, and Integrated Disclosure guidelines
Ability to work in a fast pace and deadline driven environment.
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Exceptional organizational and follow-up skills.
Interact effectively with a diverse group of people.
Work independently under minimal supervision.
