Program Assistant: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
The Unumb Center for Neurodevelopment is seeking individuals with a passion for working with children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) to join our team. Founded in 2010, The Unumb Center is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization offering individualized applied behavior analysis (ABA) to clients with ASD. Our mission is to help individuals with autism reach their full potential by providing comprehensive, evidence-based services and collaborative solutions for the needs of the autism community.
Our team of highly qualified professionals provides one-on-one and small-group ABA to children and adolescents aged 2 to 21 in clinic, home, and community-based settings. In addition, The Unumb Center offers individual and family therapy, school consultations, social skills groups, behavioral feeding therapy, summer camps, job training, as well as diagnostic testing and evaluations.
A Program Assistant is a paraprofessional who practices under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The Program Assistant’s primary responsibility is the direct implementation of treatment plans designed to teach communication, social, and daily living skills, while reducing problematic behaviors for children with ASD. They are also responsible for collecting and totaling data during each therapy session, as well as communication with clinical teams. All Program Assistants are expected to obtain the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential within 90 days of employment through training provided on-site.
