DESCRIPTION:Families and friends of individuals struggling with alcoholism now have a new resource for support in Laurens County. Beginning Wednesday\, February 11\, 2025\, the Help & Hope Al-Anon meetings will be held weekly at noon at the Alconon Serenity Club\, located at 3702 Hwy. 221 S. in Laurens. \nAl-Anon provides a confidential and welcoming environment where individuals affected by someone else’s drinking can find understanding\, encouragement\, and practical tools to cope. The new Wednesday noon meetings are open to all who seek support\, offering a space to share experiences and gain strength from others facing similar challenges. \nAl-Anon has long been a beacon of hope for those dealing with the impact of a loved one’s alcoholism. Through a program rooted in shared experience\, attendees can find guidance and reassurance\, knowing they are not alone in their struggles. \nFor more information about the meetings or Al-Anon in general\, visit Al-Anon’s official website or stop by the on Alconon Serenity Club Wednesdays at noon. \nAll are welcome.
