DESCRIPTION:Palmetto Park Jam featuring Allman Brothers Tribute Band Idlewild Revival set for Oct. 12 \nPalmetto Islands County Park will host its next Palmetto Park Jam on Sunday\, Oct. 12. Guests will jam with Idlewild Revival\, a Charleston-based Allman Brothers tribute band\, making for the perfect afternoon for fans of the band or just anyone who loves great music. \nGates for the event open at 11 a.m.\, and Novatones will open the show at 12 p.m. Idlewild Revival will play starting at 1:30 p.m. \nHeld in a family-friendly festival atmosphere in the meadow at Mount Pleasant Palmetto Islands County Park\, the event will also feature food trucks and craft vendors. \nConcert admission will be charged per vehicle\, so groups of guests should arrive together in the same vehicle. Standard sized vehicles of up to 15 people will be $20 per vehicle in advance\, or $30 per vehicle at the gate\, if available. Gold Pass holders will receive free admission at the gate (one vehicle of up to 15 people per Gold Pass presented on site; no ticket is required\, but early arrival is recommended in case of a sellout. Gold Pass membership does not guarantee admission to events that have sold out). Parking is limited at Palmetto Islands County Park\, so a limited number of tickets will be sold and the event could sell out in advance. Purchasing tickets in advance at CharlestonCountyParks.com (direct link) is highly recommended. \nFood and beverages will be available for purchase on site. Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets to the event. Outside food\, alcohol and coolers are prohibited at Palmetto Park Jam. SUMMARY:Moonlight Mixers season finale
DESCRIPTION:The Moonlight Mixer series on the Folly Beach Pier is hosting the final event of the summer! The pier’s last Mixer will be on Friday\, Sept. 20.  \nAll ages are invited to celebrate summertime with some dancing on the Folly Beach Pier. On select Friday evenings this summer\, dancers have enjoyed music from a DJ or live band. On Sept. 20\, DJ Bill Shelton will spin the hottest oldies and beach music.\n \n Advance tickets are $10 per person. If the event has not sold out\, on-site tickets will be $15 per person. Tickets are limited and the events are expected to sell out\, so advance purchase is recommended. Event hours are 7 – 10 p.m. \n Beverages will be available for purchase on site. No outside food or drink is allowed\, and pets are not permitted at the event. Food and snacks will be available for purchase at the Pier 101 Restaurant and the Gangplank Gift & Tackle Shop\, both located at the entrance to the pier. Food\, beverages and parking fees are not included with ticket purchase. Chairs are welcome as seating is limited. \nMoonlight Mixers offer accessible parking\, restrooms\, and water fountains\, as well as an accessible ramp to the pier and an accessible route to the event area at the end of the pier. KultureCity Sensory Bags are available for checkout on a first-come\, first-served basis during the event.
