DESCRIPTION:The Charleston Metro Chamber has announced its inaugural Diversity\, Equity and Inclusion Conference\, a three-day\, fully virtual conference that will create space for participants to listen\, learn and take action. \nThroughout the three-day conference\, participants will journey together with the goal of leading the region’s business community in creating a diverse and inclusive workforce where opportunities and resources are equitable for all. \nEach day will feature a thought-provoking keynote speaker along with breakout sessions and work groups. The conference will be structured around how Diversity\, Equity and Inclusion relates to how the region collectively learns\, lives and earns. \nParticipants will take a deep dive into who the Charleston region is today and seek to better understand some of the historic and systemic challenges that lead to inequity in the Lowcountry.
