DESCRIPTION:Lander University invites the Greenwood and Lander communities to attend a student recital Thursday\, Oct. 9\, by Mary Ashlynne Lawson\, a senior music education major. The program is free and open to the public and will begin at 7 p.m. at the Abney Cultural Center Auditorium. \nAbout the Event:\nMary Ashlynne Lawson\, a senior music education major\, will perform Thursday\, Oct. 9\, to share her deep love for music and song through her senior performance. Her recital’s theme can be summarized as songs of life\, reminding her audience that we are all human through struggle and victory. \nLawson says she is thankful to be able to share the gift of song with everyone as well as the opportunity to pursue her love for music for the rest of her life.
