SUMMARY:Join Us for "Living with Cancer"
DESCRIPTION:We had a BIG night at our LCCA “Living with Cancer” support group! \nWe are so excited to celebrate our biggest turnout yet\, with 30 people in attendance! What started as a support group is growing into something so much more: a community where people can come together\, share\, listen\, learn\, and know they are not alone. \nWe were incredibly grateful to have two wonderful guest speakers\, India Jones and Carolyn Roberts\, who shared their time\, knowledge\, and encouragement about caregiving with our group. And a huge thank you to the Knights of Columbus for providing dinner for everyone! Your generosity helped make the evening extra special. \nAt the LCCA\, we are proud to provide assistance to those facing cancer\, but we are even more thankful that we are building a community of support\, friendship\, compassion\, and love for anyone whose life has been touched by cancer. \nThank you to everyone who came\, shared\, listened\, and helped make this night so meaningful. This is what community looks like. \nPlease consider joining us for our next meeting on September 10th\, when we will have Brenna Abrams from the Joanna Lions Club.
