DESCRIPTION:The Political Science Department will be hosting two political forums to allow the campus and broader communities to “Meet the Candidates” for the upcoming local elections to be held on Tuesday\, March 7.  These “Meet the Candidates” forums will be held on: \nTuesday\, February 28: “Meet the Mayoral & City Council Ward 4 Candidates” Forum\n6 to 7:30 p.m. in Edmunds Hall \nFeaturing Mayoral candidates Leonard Pitts\, Randy Randall & Ronnie Roth as well as Ward 4 candidates Gary Kuykendall\, Vernon McCall & Stewart Owens \nWednesday\, March 1: “Meet the City Council Candidates for Wards 2 & 4” Forum\n6 to 7:30 p.m. in Edmunds Hall \nFeaturing Ward 2 candidates Shaquille Harp\, Kenneth Ken Turner\, Reginald Vance\, & Anita Williams as well as Ward 4 candidates Andy Howard & Megan Walsh. \nThe candidates will be answering questions provided to them in advance (please note that questions will not be taken from the audience\, and this is not a debate). If you have a question (or more) that you would like for us to ask during these forums of the candidates — either for a specific race or in general — please send those to Ben Bailey at dbbailey@presby.edu by 5 p.m. on Tuesday\, Feb. 21.
