SUMMARY:Saxophone Colossus: Chris Potter
DESCRIPTION:WE ARE OVERJOYED TO PRESENT ONE OF THE BEST JAZZ SAXOPHONISTS OF ALL-TIME. Since emerging on the scene as a sideman 30 years ago with Red Rodney\, Chris has gone on to play with everybody from Pat Metheny to Steely Dan. Down Beat magazine called him “One of the most studied (and copied) saxophonists on the planet” and Jazz Times identified him as “a figure of international renown.” Potter’s impressive discography includes 18 albums as a leader\, as well as sideman appearances on more than 100 albums. CHRIS POTTER GREW UP IN COLUMBIA\, SC!
