DESCRIPTION:The City of Clinton Planning Commission will hold a public hearing Tuesday\, July 14\, at 6 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at the M.S. Bailey Municipal Center\, 211 N. Broad St.\, Suite A. \nThe commission will consider a proposed annexation and amendments to the City of Clinton zoning map involving approximately 283.12 acres on Highway 56 South. The affected property is identified as Tax Map Numbers 617-00-00-015\, 617-00-00-016 and 617-00-00-028. \nThe proposal calls for annexation into the City of Clinton with several zoning designations: A-R (Agricultural Residential)\, R-1 (Single-Family Residential)\, RS-2\, RS-3 and C-3 (General Commercial). \nProperty owners adjacent to the proposed annexation area are being notified of the request. \nDocuments related to the case are available for public inspection in the Planning Department at the M.S.
