SC Chamber’s 2022 Workforce Symposium to address retention, recruitment and training – Oct 4

The South Carolina Chamber of Commerce’s annual Workforce Development Symposium, in partnership with the South Carolina Department of Employment and Workforce (DEW) and SC WORKS, will be held on October 4, 2022, in Greenville, South Carolina.

The Workforce Development Symposium is an annual event devoted to unpacking South Carolina’s most crucial workforce challenges, including retention of skilled labor, recruitment and training, with the state’s business leaders through a series of presentations and panels. Notably, DEW will provide industry projections, employer opportunities, and innovative outlooks on the future of South Carolina’s workforce during remarks from Dan Ellzey, executive director of SCDEW. In addition, the event will feature a visit from the Be Pro Be Proud SC truck focused on bringing a new generation of pride, progress and professionals to South Carolina’s skilled workforce.
