SCRA announces July funded and accepted companies

South Carolina Research Authority (SCRA) announced the recent acceptance of two new Client Companies into its entrepreneurial program, SC Launch, and one Client Company receiving an Acceleration Grant.

SC Launch provides mentorship and funding to early-stage, technology-driven startups and entrepreneurs. The purpose of Accelerations Grants is to position a company toward commercialization and a possible investment from SC Launch, Inc., SCRA’s investment affiliate.

Agulus, Inc. was accepted as an SC Launch Client Company, and is a technology company offering web-based solutions for problems facing the agricultural industry. The online platform fosters collaboration between farmers, buyers, brokers, carriers, and other organizations. Clients can create and manage contracts, communicate with advisors, buy and sell commodities, arrange freight shipping, and more.

Indiemark, LLC (dba Email Industries) was also accepted as an SC Launch Client Company. Email Industries provides email deliverability and email compliance solutions to marketing vendors and email senders. The platform promotes strengthening marketing relationships and list integrity.

Wander Technologies, Inc. (dba Whim) has been approved to receive a $50,000 Acceleration Grant. The app is the world’s first social recommendation platform for travel, finding nearby friends, restaurants, events, and other activities.
