SUMMARY:Stories of War with Exit12 Dance Company
DESCRIPTION:Exit12’s signature full-length evening performances weave together veteran storytelling with concert dance that takes the audience through the military experience\, exploring war\, humanity\, homecoming and family. This will be the debut performance of a new collaborative piece that tells the story of the cadet experience. This event will take place on Saturday\, Nov. 16\, from 6 to 8 p.m. Attendance is free\, but registration is required. \nStories of War at The Citadel is funded in part by Creative Forces®: NEA Military Healing Arts Network\, an initiative of the National Endowment in partnership with the U.S. Departments of Defense and Veterans Affairs. Creative Forces Community Engagement Grant program is managed by Mid-America Arts Alliance.

DESCRIPTION:Open to the public\, tickets required \nThe Citadel is holding a Veterans Day concert with the Charleston Symphony Orchestra\, or CSO\, on Saturday\, Nov. 11. The event begins at 7 p.m.\, where attendees can meet and greet the CSO musicians\, and the concert will begin at 8 p.m. \nTickets are $40 for general admission. All proceeds will support art programs for Citadel veterans in partnership with The Citadel’s Veteran Student Success Center.
