SUMMARY:Girl Scouts partners with Girlology to host masterclass: “Unbothered and Alive” addresses body image and self-worth struggles in women
DESCRIPTION:Girl Scouts of South Carolina—Mountains to Midlands is partnering with nationally trusted platform\, Girlology\, to host an essential masterclass designed for women titled: “Unbothered and Alive: Discover the Power of Embodiment.” \nThe event\, which is open to all adult women across the region\, will take place on January 24\, 2026\, at the Cathy Novinger Girl Scout Leadership Center in Columbia\, SC. \nA Crucial Conversation for All Women \nThis masterclass directly addresses the pervasive cultural challenge faced by women today: decades spent internalizing the belief that their bodies are problems to fix\, and their voices are “too much.” This harmful cycle of negative self-talk is now being absorbed by the next generation of girls. \nThis Girl Scouts and Girlology collaboration underscores a powerful truth: when adult women break the cycle of restrictive beliefs and negative self-talk\, they model the powerful confidence and self-worth essential for the future of young women. \n“This isn’t just a workshop for parents; it’s a call to action for every woman\,” said Melanie Huggins\, CEO. “To effectively champion the next generation\, we must first heal ourselves. The lessons learned in ‘Unbothered and Alive’ are vital for every woman seeking a more aligned\, confident\, and compassionate relationship with herself.” \nWhat Attendees Will Experience \n“Unbothered and Alive” is an interactive and supportive masterclass filled with discussions\, guided exercises\, and mindfulness practices designed to help women reconnect with their body and reclaim their sense of self. \nParticipants will: \n\nLearn the foundational pillars of embodiment and explore practices that transform how you feel about and experience your body\nGain inspiring\, practical support to harness your agency and voice\nFoster self-compassion while challenging restrictive beliefs about body image and self-worth\n\nEVENT DETAILS \nWhat: “Unbothered and Alive: Discover the Power of Embodiment” Masterclass\nWho: Presented by Girl Scouts of South Carolina—Mountains to Midlands and Girlology\nWhen: Saturday\, January 24\, 2026\nTime: 1 – 3 p.m.\nWhere: Cathy Novinger Girl Scout Leadership Center\, 1107 Williams Street\, Columbia\, SC\nRegistration: https://tinyurl.com/gsscmm
