SUMMARY:First Choice Makes Going Back to School Easy and Fun in N. Charleston
DESCRIPTION:Jump-Start Back-to-School will offer school supplies\, backpacks\, and more on Aug. 3\, 3 – 6 p.m. \nWhat\nSelect Health of South Carolina’s First Choice health plan will host its third Jump-Start Back-to-School event of the summer to help N. Charleston-area families with school-aged children make sure they are healthy and prepared for the new school year. \nThe event will feature back-to-school information\, children’s activities\, and backpacks with school supplies provided at no cost (while quantities last). More than 20 agencies and community partners will be there assisting kids with getting the school supplies they need. Select Health’s bilingual staff will assist Spanish-speaking families\, and interpretation services will be available for attendees with limited English proficiency. \nParticipants are asked to register in advance by calling 1-888-676-9588. \nWhen\nSaturday\, Aug. 3\, 2024\n3 – 6 p.m. \nWhere\nDanny Jones Athletic Complex\n1455 Monitor St.\nN.
