DESCRIPTION:Sistercare and Jamie Scott Fitness are joining together to host a free yoga class on International Women’s Day as a self-care celebration of women and survivors of domestic violence. \nWhen and Where– Saturday\, March 8th from 9am – 10am at SC State Capitol North Lawn (Gervais St.) \nRegistration – FREE\, participants can register at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/sistercare-jsf-yoga-class-tickets-1251798746749?aff=ebdssbdestsearch \nSchedule – 9:00 – 9:45am: Vinyasa Flow Yoga\, 9:45 – 10:00am Self-Defense Demo of Krav Maga \nInformation\n• All ages and experience levels welcome.\n• Bring a yoga mat.\n• Give the gift of self-care to a survivor of domestic violence: Bring face/eye masks\, friendship bracelets\, or journals as a donation to Sistercare clients. Donations are completely optional. \nSistercare is a nonprofit agency serving thousands of domestic violence survivors and their children annually in Richland\, Lexington\, Kershaw\, Fairfield\, and Newberry counties. Sistercare’s mission is to reduce the occurrence and impact of domestic violence in the Midlands.
