DESCRIPTION:How does silk\, paint\, and canvas combine to create large-scale tapestries and floating columns? Immerse yourself in a contemporary art installation based on a Cao Dai temple in Vietnam in Kenny Nguyen: The Divine Eye. In Raheleh Filsoofi: At the Edge of Arrival\, the multi-disciplinary artist creates paintings out of dust and pottery from soil she harvests herself from the earth amid a sound and video installation. \nView these enchanting exhibitions at Halsey After Hours Friday\, September 26\, 2025\, 5:30-7:30 PM:  a happy hour event at the Halsey Institute of Contemporary Art. Bring a friend and enjoy light bites (‘tinis and wienies)\, drinks\, and tunes from DJ DollaMenu. Join us to mingle and drink in the views of these concurrent solo exhibitions. \nThis event is free for Members of the Halsey Institute. Not-yet Members will be asked for a $10 donation.
