Wella Professionals School of Cosmetology to Offer Discount Haircuts

COLUMBIA, SC – July 27, 2009 –Wella Professionals School of Cosmetology will offer discount haircuts on Friday, August 7 and Saturday, August 8 from 10:00AM to 3:00PM and all proceeds will benefit United Way of the Midlands Community Impact Fund.
The school’s Columbia Campus, located at 105 Sparkleberry Crossing in Northeast Columbia, will be hosting this event. Students will provide professional haircuts for just $5, and in addition, vendors will be doing hair, beauty and fashion modeling demonstrations.
Vendors and community organizations are getting involved by doing special presentations throughout the day. Those participating include Logan Raye Salon, the Richland County Police Department and South Carolina Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy. The event will feature special drawings for grab bags and gift certificates as well as entertainment and food for all attendees! Curtis Wilson from WLTX-TV will be on hand for the festivities and WWDM FM101.3 will broadcast live from the event as well.
Everyone is invited, so bring the whole family, get a haircut and support United Way of the Midlands.
