October 6, 2020100 Women Who Care Midlands SC at their 3rd quarter meeting elected to support Harvest Hope with a donation of $6,500. Members of 100 Women Who Care Midlands SC presented their checks directly to Quinn Hayes, Midlands Development Specialist, Harvest Hope at their food bank in Columbia. Harvest Hope’s mission is to transform lives by feeding the hungry and building a healthy and hopeful hunger-free tomorrow.
With over 100 current members, 100 Women Who Care Midlands SC formed a chapter in the Midlands at the beginning of 2018 and is continuing to grow their membership. 100 Women Who Care Midlands SC meets once quarterly for one hour and gives all donated monies to local non-profits in the Midlands of SC. Our members come from all walks of life and varying financial backgrounds with a simple desire to make an immediate, direct, and positive impact in our communities.
Members commit to giving one hour of their time each quarter to learn about local non-profits that are nominated by each member. Each member then agrees to support, financially, the local non-profit selected among those nominated and voted on, donating their money directly to the selected non-profit each quarter. The combined giving of each members contribution makes a powerful impact locally. In addition to Harvest Hope, the Midlands Chapter donated $6,275 to Mission Lexington and $7,550 to Katrina’s Kids this year as well.
100 Women Who Care Midlands SC invites women in the Midlands to become 1 of 100.
