17th Annual Flight of the Dove Draws Record Number of Riders

August 6th marked the 17th annual Flight of the Dove cycling event and fundraiser for Hospice of Laurens County.
The event is known for drawing cyclists from beyond the Upstate and this years event was no different. There were 337 riders total and they came from all over South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, New York, and Oklahoma.
Flight of the Dove features a metric century (62 miles), a 30-mile ride, a 14-mile leisure ride, and a 50-mile variation of the metric century.
The event is supported by the committed staff of Hospice of Laurens County and about 100 volunteers.
