1×1 Design welcomes Rachel DeBacker to the team

1×1 Design announced that Rachel DeBacker, AIA, LEED AP has joined the team.

Rachel earned her Bachelor of Science in Architecture from University of Virginia in 2002, followed by her Master of Architecture from the University of Texas at Austin in 2006.  Rachel is a registered architect in Virginia and Tennessee, while also being a LEED Accredited Professional.

Rachel has been recognized for her award winning design work, both in school and in the profession.  Most recently, this year, she won the International Playhouse Competition in Nashville, Tennessee.  She has a passion for residential and commercial architecture, completing projects internationally and close to home throughout her decade of experience.  Rachel most recently practiced as a sole proprietor prior to relocating to the Columbia area with her husband and two children.
