This program encourages recruitment of women into BPW membership, promotes activities that involve the participation of women, and publicly recognizes achievements and efforts of women in our communities. It is sponsored by the Business and Professional Women (BPW) of Greenville

Kacie Jackson represented BPW Greenville Locale and went on to compete at the state level providing a 5 Minute speech answering the following questions:

What are the most important issues facing working women today?  How can BPW (and you as a BPW member) help address this issue?

Kacie’s topic centered on the Statement “Men Can have it Both Ways but Women Can’t.” She very eloquently discussed the double standard that women face in the workplace, a small excerpt from her speech readsBasic business intuition tells us that we want to work with people who will give us a return on our investment.  The same approach should apply when we build relationships with businesses partners, co-workers or coalitions.  We have the power to focus our energy and resources on those who are both willing and capable of diversifying their business by including women”.

Kaci also underwent an extensive interviewing process by 3 judges at the state level and in addition to the Speech. This year’s BPW President Lindsay Hansel of Accentron Staffing reports she is honored to have Kaci represent the Local Greenville BPW Chapter as Young Careerist.
