3 from Burnette Shutt & McDaniel included in Super Lawyers

Three attorneys from Burnette Shutt & McDaniel are listed in Super Lawyers 2017, the latest edition of an annual guide that rates attorneys across the nation.

Super Lawyers selected M. Malissa Burnette, Kathleen McDaniel and Janet Rhodes after a stringent process that includes independent research as well as evaluations from peer attorneys in their practice areas. Each year Super Lawyers includes only about 5 percent of the attorneys nominated in the guide.

Burnette was recognized in the practice area of employment litigation, plaintiffs.

McDaniel was listed among Rising Stars in administrative law, the only attorney in the Midlands recognized in that practice area. Rhodes was included in Rising Stars in the practice area of employment and labor law. The Rising Stars designation is for attorneys who have practiced less than 10 years or who are younger than 40.
