8th Annual Golf for Conner Silent Auction and Raffle Gala

LEXINGTON, SC – Marcus Lattimore will join the Christopher Conner Foundation for the 8th annual Golf for Conner Silent Auction and Raffle Gala on October 18, 2015, at the Country Club of Lexington. The Conner Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that supports South Carolina based musicians with education scholarships, medical assistance, and community programs of healing through music for children and adults.
“We are very excited to have Marcus join us in kicking off our annual golf tournament and auction event,” said Dr. Shane Conner, President of the Conner Foundation. “We so much appreciate all of the sponsors, participants and volunteers who work diligently to make this event successful as it is our only fundraising event each year. The auction gala and golf teams filled up very quickly thanks to the Foundation’s many friends and sponsors who offer their support each year.”
“Music is an important part of our culture and I am happy to be a part of this great event that focuses on raising funds for music scholarships, medical hardships and community fundraisers for children and adults,” Lattimore said of his decision to speak at the event.
The Foundation is collecting canned foods and other items recommended on the SC Emergency Management Department (SCEMD) website at both events to support SC flood relief efforts.
