Real estate veterans launch new development company

Two of the region’s most experienced commercial real estate professionals, Bill Owen and Kevin Werner, have partnered to form Magnus Development Partners, LLC, a new real estate development company headquartered in Columbia, SC. The company’s focus is on developing investment grade industrial real estate throughout the southeastern United States. Prior to forming the new company, the two partners collaborated to deliver multiple successful industrial projects. Now with the establishment of Magnus Development Partners, the company has broken ground on its first project, Midway Logistics III, a 200,000-square foot “Class A” speculative industrial building located within Lexington County Industrial Park.
With a combined 50 years’ experience in commercial real estate, Owen and Werner have developed properties for some of the nation’s most recognizable companies, including Home Depot, Iron Mountain, Starbucks, Tractor Supply, Scholastic Book Fairs, Husqvarna, and many others. Throughout their respective careers, the partners have generated hundreds of millions of dollars in project investments, helping to create thousands of new jobs.
