Southern First Bank announces executive promotion

Southern First Bank is pleased to announce that Blake G. Taylor has been promoted to Executive Vice President and Columbia Regional Executive. Blake’s leadership role will include the growth and performance of the entire Columbia market.

Taylor currently serves as Vice Chair of the Emerging Leaders Board with the American Bankers Association, on the executive committee of Junior Achievement of Greater South Carolina and on the University of South Carolina Athletics Director’s Cabinet. He also served on the Young Bankers Board of the South Carolina Bankers Association and is a graduate of The Graduate School of Banking at LSU.
