Mike Kelly named COO of McGuinn Hybrid Homes

McGuinn Hybrid Homes is pleased to announce the promotion of President Mike Kelly to chief operating officer. Kelly celebrates 17 years with the company this week, and has served as president since 2015. He will assume the title of COO and also becomes a stockholder effective immediately.
“Mike has spent the majority of his career in construction with McGuinn Hybrid Homes, and I couldn’t be more grateful for his dedicated leadership,” said CEO Wade McGuinn. “His insight and expertise has been crucial to our success as Columbia’s premier hybrid homebuilder, and I look forward to continued growth with him and the rest of our talented team.”
Customer and vendors alike say that Mike is meticulous in his work, and a man of integrity. He has lead McGuinn to a number of industry awards from design to construction.
Starting out as a project manager almost two decades ago, Kelly advanced through the ranks as customer service, production manager, vice president of operations and production, president, and now COO. Under his leadership, Mike has helped McGuinn grow from a small custom home builder to one of the top five builders in the metro Columbia market, starting and closing over 250 homes a year. He looks forward to leading McGuinn Hybrid Homes as it continues to grow its brand and position in the Midlands market.

The company will celebrate Mike Kelly’s anniversary and promotion tonight with a dinner and roast in his honor. Mike and his wife Belinda have a daughter, Taylor, and a grandson, Carson, and reside in Lexington, SC.
