LICS announces new board members for 2018

Lexington Interfaith Community Services (LICS) announces the appointment of three new members to its Board of Directors to serve a two year term.

“We are very pleased to welcome these three leaders to the board. The diversity of their experience will strengthen our board and organization, as we continue to meet the needs of our neighbors in Lexington County,” said Robin Bowers, Executive Director.

Joining the 2018 Board of Directors are Will Cheatham, Assistant Vice President and Commercial Lender at First Community Bank; Sherri Burriss, a Commercial Real Estate Professional with ROI Commercial, LLC; and Todd Lyle, attorney with Reeves and Lyle.

Officers for 2018 are Chairman, Troy Simpson (pictured), current Vice President of Member Services at Mid Carolina Electric Cooperative; Immediate Past Chair, Patti Sue Burton-Pye, Pastor at Providence Lutheran Church; Secretary, Michelle Eagle, Human Services Instructor at Midlands Technical College; and Treasurer, Will Cheatham, Vice President and Commercial Lender at First Community Bank.

Other board members currently serving include: Daisy Harman with Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Dr. David Stallard, MD., with Lexington Women’s Care- Lexington, Jane Willis with Darla Moore School of Business, and Harold Wray.
