Southeastern Freight Lines promotes Sherri Bane to vice president of finance in Lexington

Southeastern Freight Lines, the leading provider of regional less-than-truckload (LTL) transportation services, today announced Sherri Bane has been promoted to vice president of finance in Lexington, South Carolina.

With more than 22 years of experience at Southeastern, Bane started her career as a manager of financial accounting and budgeting. Since then, she has served in several roles, including director of financial accounting and budgeting, and, most recently, assistant vice president of finance at Southeastern’s corporate headquarters in Lexington, South Carolina.

“Sherri’s character, integrity and love of serving others is evident in the energy she brings to Southeastern,” said Russ Burleson, senior vice president of finance, Southeastern Freight Lines. “She is a valued team member and we look forward to her exceptional contributions for many years to come.”

Outside of work, Bane and her husband, Chris, enjoy exploring what it means to become recent empty-nesters. Bane looks forward to her expanded responsibilities in the new role.
