Dr. Aspey specializes in sports medicine and minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery. He became interested in these areas after having surgery for a sports injury. “Having been a collegiate athlete myself and undergoing surgery in college for a sports injury, I understand the importance of a speedy and full recovery… In sports medicine, we not only treat high level athletes but all patients [who] have the goal of being more active with less pain. Helping patients achieve this goal is very fulfilling as a surgeon.”

Dr. Aspey joins Midlands Orthopaedics and Neurosurgery’s team of highly skilled orthopaedic surgeons and is eager to lend his expertise in sports medicine to the community. “I am very excited to join Midlands Orthopaedics and Neurosurgery as one of the premier groups in South Carolina. This group has so many exciting programs for patients, high quality care, and top surgeons. I am honored to be a part of this leading institution and contribute to this level of excellence.”

Dr. Aspey is now seeing patients at the downtown and Lexington locations.
