Todd Dailey of Derrick Stubbs appointed to SC Board of Accountancy

Derrick, Stubbs & Stith, LLP, a Columbia firm providing accounting, auditing, taxation and business consulting, is pleased to announce that Todd Dailey, CPA, CVA, was appointed by Governor Nikki Haley to serve on the South Carolina Board of Accountancy. Board members are appointed by the governor to the regulatory authority that issues licenses to over 6,000 Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) in the state of South Carolina.
A partner in the firm, Dailey’s practice at Derrick Stubbs includes accounting, auditing, taxation and consulting for a wide range of industries including manufacturing and construction, real estate, healthcare, legal and other service businesses, and non-profit organizations.

Dailey is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a B.S. in Accounting. He received his CPA license in 1993 and his CVA license in 1999 and is an active member of the SC Association of Certified Public Accountants (SCACPA), currently serving as Chair of the Regulatory Legislative and Advocacy Committee and member of the Taxation Committee and Financial Planning Conference. In addition to his work with SCACPA, his professional affiliations include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA). He serves on the Board of the University of South Carolina Friends of Accounting and is also a member of the University of South Carolina Alumni Association.
