CBRE’s Shannon Lyon promoted to Assistant Real Estate Manager

CBRE announced that Shannon Lyon has been promoted to Assistant Real Estate Manager within the Asset Services division in Columbia. Lyon is part of a growing team that manages over 3 million square feet of office and retail space including a downtown parking garage serving over 700 parkers daily. She leverages her experience and tenant insight to enhance the value and day-to-day operations of the team’s portfolio on behalf of its owners and tenants.

Lyon joined CBRE in 2008 and supports all tasks related to managing a portfolio of commercial and industrial properties, including marketing, event planning, tenant relations, maintenance and vendor operations.

Originally from Connecticut, Lyon moved to South Carolina in 2003 after graduating Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts with a Bachelor of Science in marketing with a minor in information technology. She is married to Joshua Lyon, a USMC combat veteran and is the mother of three children. She is an active member of the GFWC Junior Woman’s Club of Columbia, serving as the Communications Committee Chair and Chaplain. She is also an IREM member and active in the CBRE Rising Professionals Organization and CBRE Women’s Network.
