Caldwell named one of Greenville, S.C.’s most influential people

Didi Caldwell, founding principal of Global Location Strategies (GLS), has been named one of the “50 Most Influential People” by Greenville Business Magazine. The list highlights those who have made a significant impact shaping Greenville, South Carolina’s business and community landscape.

Greenville Business Magazine recognized Caldwell for her company’s leadership in producing $5.6 billion of announced capital investments and 5,300 new jobs since 2012. A review of her individual achievements in 2017 included leading the site selection of a $400 million tissue plant; her election to serve as treasurer of the prestigious Site Selectors Guild Board of Directors; her growing reputation as an expert source for news media; and numerous speaking engagements at global and regional conferences.

Selection for the “50 Most Influential People” is based upon nominations from the community, news reports, and editors’ observations of the Greenville community.
