Flourish honored with the 2017 Business of Integrity Award

November 16, 2017

Flourish won the Better Business Bureau® of the Upstate’s 2017 Business of Integrity Award for Community Service in the 1-10 employee category during a ceremony on Thursday, November 9, at the Hilton Greenville.

“There are many honors and awards that are wonderful to win,” said Jamie Prince, founder and principal of Flourish. “This—something that recognizes a commitment to the greater community over the course of time, by an organization upholding the highest standards of ethics—is, to me, one of those that make me so grateful we are doing what we’re doing, and that we are the kind of team that we are.”

The Business of Integrity Awards recognizes outstanding businesses for their commitment to exceptional marketplace standards that benefit their consumers, employees, suppliers, industry peers and the communities in which they do business and serve.

“By donating countless hours of service to help the community, Flourish exemplifies the BBB mission of ethics and integrity,” said Vee Daniel, president and CEO, Better Business Bureau of the Upstate. “We are proud to select them as a 2017 Business of Integrity Award winner.”

Nominations are submitted by customers or the companies themselves, but this award differs from many others in the Upstate. Rather than being decided by popularity, nominees are put through a rigorous application process evaluating the company’s demonstrated commitment to business practices that build trust with employees, customers and vendors in the marketplace.

As a local recipient of the 2017 Business of Integrity Award, Flourish is eligible to enter the Council of Better Business Bureau, Inc.’s 2017 National Torch Award.
