ReWa adds Thompson to its Board

Clint Thompson has been appointed by the Governor of South Carolina to serve on the Renewable Water Resources Board of Commissioners.

A Pawley’s Island native, Thompson resides in Greenville with his wife Sandra C. Thompson and has two children. Thompson graduated from New York University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, a Master’s Degree in Business Administration in Corporate Finance, as well as a Law degree. He began his career as Senior Accountant in the New York Office of Peat, Marwick Mitchell & Co. the largest of the “big eight” accounting firms. Throughout his work history, Thompson has also served as the Finance Director for the City of Greenville and Administrator to the Executive Director at Western Carolina Regional Sewer Authority (now ReWa) responsible for a myriad of departments. He has 13 years of experience in accounting and 26 years of experience in management. Thompson also is an FAA licensed pilot and aircraft owner.

Thompson presently owns and manages Total Insurance, LLC, with offices in Greenville and Spartanburg, and Thompson Properties & Investments, LLC.
